FAQs

Can I seal my Indian Sandstone?

Due to the porosity & moisture retention of the product, we would not recommend it

Does the weather have to be dry?

Yes certainly, the surface of the patio has to be dry, with no rain forecast until the patio sealer is completely dry.

How is the Patio Sealer best applied?

By suitable sprayer or roller.

How long will the patio sealer last?

Once sealed, the 'pores' of the patio will be sealed for many years to come. For the aesthetic appearence and general surface protection we would recommend a top up coat of sealer generally every 3-5 years.

How many coats of patio sealer should be applied?

We would generally recommend two, but it all depends on the porosity and age of the surface. In some instances one coat of patio sealer might be fine.

What is the coverage of 1 litre of Patio Sealer

On average between 3-5 sq metres, dependent on porosity of surface.

What temperatures can the Patio Sealer be applied in?

Above 8 degrees and below 25 degrees would be a good guidelines to follow.

Will the Patio Sealer change the colour of my surface?

Generally if you pour a glass of water on your patio, leave for 5 minutes and then look at it, this is how it will look when sealed.
